Duties:
As Telecommunications and Data Technician, David James is responsible for providing and maintaining telecommunications voice and data services for the SUNY Oswego campus community. Equipment includes the telecommunications switch and peripheral equipment; as well as, remote sites, fiber optic backbone, cable plant, LAN and cable television infrastructure and hardware. David also assists in the maintenance of the data network and video network with other Campus Technology Services staff members.  David has a special focus on wireless data infrastructure.

Bio:
David joined Campus Technology Services in July 2004. He holds a BA in Information Science from the SUNY Oswego.  His most recent appointment was with Stratton Mountain – Resort Business Systems.  Other areas of interest are percussion, snowboarding and cycling.
