• What course management tools do you use (ex: discussions, small groups, etc)?

Mostly, I use background (lecture document area), ask the professor and assignments.

• How has using CourseSpace changed your course?

My courses are substantively very difficult. The background enables me to preview the upcoming material so the students can read the material more easily and so the discussions flow more smoothly. Also, I insert many links in my courses so the students can find information, do research, get additional information, etc.  Also, the inserted links keep the course more current.

• What lessons have you learned?

Students most appreciate the summaries/previews I give before we start a new unit. Also, the “ask the professor” enables me to address student questions in a timely way.
