CTS continually updates and upgrades the operating system and software on campus computers to ensure both security and functionality. Much of this work is automatically delivered to college-owned faculty/staff computers each Wednesday morning – otherwise known as “Patch Wednesdays”.
If your computer is not turned on and connected to the network when the updates are delivered, don’t worry. Your computer will be updated the next time it connects to the campus network. Laptops will receive the updates once they are back on campus and connected to the network.
