Amanda Cipriano

Record-Setting Year for Laker Volleyball

The Oswego State volleyball team broke three school records during the 2007 season, and compiled a 14-20 overall record during the year.

Junior libero Amanda Cipriano (pictured), from Solvay, broke her own Oswego State record with 38 digs in a match against Utica during the Oswego State Invitational on Oct. 13. She also had 34 digs in a five-game win at St. John Fisher on Sept. 19. Cipriano is also the all-time leader in career digs for the Lakers through three seasons.

Senior outside hitter Heidi Armstrong is now the all-time leader in kills at Oswego State, with 1,403 kills over her four-year career.
