Coach Chyrisse Conte

Head Coach Chyrisse ConteChyrisse Conte enters her 15th year as the head coach of the Oswego State softball team after taking over the reigns of the program in 1995.  During her tenure as head coach, her team has had a level of success in a number of areas.  She has coached seven All-SUNYAC Players as well as two players who received the honor more than once including Kelly Izzo (1998, 1999).  During the 2007-2008 season, the softball team set a record for most wins in a season with 19.  That year the softball team also received a bid to the SUNYAC Tournament for the first time in the school’s history.   
 
In addition to her duties as head coach, Conte is an employee of the Oswego City School District where she is completing her 20th year as a sixth grade teacher.
