Mike Howard has been at the helm of the Oswego State golf program since 1994. Howard is a 1987 graduate of Oswego State.
At Oswego State, Howard's teams have experienced a great deal of success. The Lakers played in the ECAC Championships in 1994. In 1995, Toby Draper became the first Laker to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships since the early 1980s. Since Howard took over the program, the team has also captured 14 invitational titles, including the Oswego State Fall Invitational in 2005 and the Elmira College Spring Invitational in 2006.
In addition to his golf duties, Howard also serves as the wrestling coach at Oswego State. Howard resides in Oswego with his wife, Su-Ann and their three children.
