The Oswego State golf team finished the fall portion of its schedule with a two-day score of 341-337--678 to finish in 15th place at the Hamilton Invitational on Sunday. Junior Jeff Boeckl (Gaithersburg, Md.) led the Lakers with a score of 85-82--167.

Skidmore claimed the team title after posting rounds of 300-308—608, while Brad Roche of Hamilton garnered medalist honors with a score of 74-73—147.  The first round of the tournament was held at the Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, N.Y. on Saturday, while the second round was held at the Skenandoa Club in Clinton, N.Y. on Sunday

The Oswego State men’s golf team posted a two-day score of 328-306—634 to finish eighth out of 12 teams at the ECAC Division III Metro/Upstate Championships at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, N.Y.

The Lakers improved on their ninth place standing after the first day of competition by shooting the fifth lowest team total on the second day.

Jeff Boeckl (Jr., Gaithersburg, Md.) led the team with a round of 78 for a sixth place individual finish followed by Patrick Davidow’s (Jr., Valhalla, N.Y.) total of 80, which was tied for tenth place.

The Oswego State men's golf team finished fourth out of eleven teams with a team score of 327 at the Oswego State Invite on Monday at the 6,410 yard, par-71 Oswego Country Club. Pat Davidow and Jeff Boeckl were the top Laker finishers with identical rounds of 80.

Benton Sullivan of Potsdam received medalist honors after firing a round of 73, while teammate Shawn Thomas finished in second place with a score of 75 to help Potsdam win the event with a team score of 307.  Clarkson and Elmira tied for second place with team rounds of 324. More...

Men's Golf Finishes Seventh At Skidmore Invitational
The Oswego State men's golf team fired a second-round team score of 311 on Monday to finish seventh at the Skidmore Invitational for 318-311--629.

Skidmore, which fired a 288-288—576, claimed the title by 24 strokes over Salem, which shot 299-301—600.  Freshman Nick Sterling (Gouverneur, N.Y.) paced the Lakers with a score of 78-76—154 to finish tied for 18th place individually.  Chris DeJohn of Skidmore and Jeff Santora of Salem tied for medalist honors after firing identical scores of 138.
