Women’s Soccer

SUNY Athletic Conference Commissioner Dr. Patrick Damore released the 2009 Women's Soccer All-Conference teams on Thursday, November 5 and honored Oswego State's Michelle Bateman (Fr., Fulton, N.Y.), who was named to the third team.

Bateman, a forward, led the Lakers in scoring this season with 37 points on 16 goals, including five game-winning scores, and five assists.  In conference play, she tallied five goals and two assists.  Bateman registered a hat trick in a 4-1 win over SUNY Cobleskill and had six multi-point games. 

The Lakers finished the season at 7-9-1 overall and 3-5-1 in league play.
