Men's Golf Wraps Up Fall Season At Hamilton Invitational The Oswego State golf team finished the fall portion of its schedule with a two-day score of 341-337--678 to finish in 15th place at the Hamilton Invitational on Sunday. Junior Jeff Boeckl (Gaithersburg, Md.) led the Lakers with a score of 85-82--167.
Skidmore claimed the team title after posting rounds of 300-308—608, while Brad Roche of Hamilton garnered medalist honors with a score of 74-73—147. The first round of the tournament was held at the Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, N.Y. on Saturday, while the second round was held at the Skenandoa Club in Clinton, N.Y. on Sunday
Boeckel’s finish was followed by Pat Davidow (Jr., Valhalla, N.Y.), who carded rounds of 87-81—168. The freshmen duo of Dustin Lallier (Fr., Gouverneur, N.Y.) and Nick Sterling (Fr., Gouverneur, N.Y.) finished third and fourth on the squad, respectively, as Lallier fired scores of 83-86—169 and Sterling shot a total score of 86-88—174. Joe Barron (So., Chittenango, N.Y.) rounded out the top Laker five with a total of 87-90—177.
