Cross Country Men Place Sixth and Women Finish Ninth The Oswego State cross country squads competed at the Hamilton Invitational in Clinton, N.Y. on Saturday where the Laker men finished sixth out of 13 teams and the women placed ninth out of 11 squads.
Oswego State will compete at the University of Rochester Invitational on Saturday, October 17.
Freshman Rachel Sanborn (Liberty, N.Y.) turned in the top performance for the women’s squad with a season-best time of 19:55 in the 5K race to earn 35th place. Jeff Rozler (Fr., Bemus Point, N.Y.) was the first male Laker across the finish line with a time of 27:48 to finish in 17th. Junior Samson Dikeman (Altamont, N.Y.) also placed in the top 30 as he was 29th after clocking a time of 28:19.
