Levy and Tallini Honored At Baseball Alumni Weekend Mike Levy (Sr., Salisbury Mills, N.Y.) and Garrit Tallini were recognized at the Oswego State Baseball Alumni Weekend held this past Friday and Saturday.
Levy, a captain for the upcoming 2010 season, received the Arwin Hamm Award, as he was a First Team All-SUNYAC selection at shortstop and was the SUNYAC Chancellor’s Baseball Award winner after posting a 3.80 cumulative grade point average.
Garrit Tallini, a 2004 SUNY Oswego graduate, was inducted into the Oswego State Baseball Hall of Fame. During his career, Tallini was two-time NCAA All-Region honoree, two-time All-ECAC selection, and a two-time All-SUNYAC award winner. He finished his career with a .376 batting average as a four-year starting center fielder, and served as team captain for three seasons.
