Women's Hockey Team Provides Support At 10Kan Run  Members of the Laker women's hockey team volunteered at the Novelis 10Kan Run on a chilly morning this past Saturday in Oswego.
Most players that volunteered provided vocal support for participants along much of the route that passed through the SUNY Oswego campus and along Lake Ontario.
 One player, Jenna Kirkwood (Sr., Chilliwack, British Columbia), participated in 10K race. Kirkwood had a strong showing as she finished 28th overall and sixth among females with a time of 46:40.52. Alexandra Szypryt (Fr., Bridgewater, N.J.) ran the 5K event, where she place 28th overall with a time of 28:02.43.
Proceeds from the event benefited Oswego County Habitat for Humanity.
