Lakers' midfielder Mike Recor named SUNYAC Player of the Week

For the third consecutive week, a member of the Oswego State men’s lacrosse team has garnered Player of the Week honors by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). Senior midfielder Mike Recor (Syracuse/East Syracuse-Minoa) represents the second player for the Lakers this season to earn the award after goalkeeper Judd Robinson collected the honor for the last two weeks.

Recor tallied seven goals in leading the Lakers to a 1-1 week and the third seed in this week’s SUNYAC playoffs. After scoring twice in a 20-5 loss to Geneseo, he tallied a career-high five goals on six shots in a 12-6 victory over Oneonta State.

Oswego will travel to SUNY Cortland on Wednesday, April 29 to face the second-seed and defending champion Red Dragons in a SUNYAC playoff semifinal game at 4:00 p.m.
