  Oswego State won eight of 10 matches, with three coming by fall, to come away with a 39-9 victory over Morrisville State in an Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference dual match on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Morrisville.

  The Lakers (3-8), who got 12 points on forfeits at 141 and 285 pounds, opened with a fall at 125 pounds from freshman Scott McGregor (Towanada). The Mustangs followed with a decision at 133 pounds before Oswego responded with victories in the next five weights, which included decisions from junior Mike Howard (Oswego) and sophomore Tony DeFranco (Adams/South Jefferson) at 149 and 157 pounds respectively, freshman Andrew Greenlaw (Warwick/Warwick Valley) with a fall at 165 pounds, and senior Craig Becker (Cicero/Cicero-North Syracuse) with a decision at 174.

Morrisville scored its second win of the night with a pin at 184 pounds, before junior Tom Lester (Amherst) answered with a fall at 197 pounds in the final match.

Oswego completes its dual meet schedule with a triangular match with the University of Scranton and the College of New Jersrey at Scranton beginning at 12 p.m.
