CHAMPS/Life Skills Service: Leaf-Raking/Day of Service

Starting in fall 2005, the SUNY Athletic Conference urged the student-athlete councils at member institutions to undertake an annual day of service in their own communities. Oswego's Student-Athlete Advisory Council took up the challenge of raking leaves for elderly members of the community. Around 100 Laker student-athletes cleaned more than 30 yards with enthusiasm, determination and skill.
