Attending a Home Event

The Oswego State athletic department welcomes all students, faculty and staff, as well as the surrounding community, to attend any home athletic event and support the Lakers. During the fall season, the men's and women's soccer, and women's tennis and field hockey teams play their home games at the Laker Field complex east of Romney Field House. The men's and women's cross-country teams hold their home meets on the main campus, while the volleyball team uses the Max Ziel Gymnasium in Laker Hall. The Laker golf program calls the Oswego Country Club on West First Street its home course.

The men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming and diving, and wrestling programs all heat up Laker Hall during the winter, with the men's and women's ice hockey teams playing at the new Campus Center ice arena. Basketball and ice hockey are the only sports charging admission. Individual game tickets for men's and women's ice hockey cost $6 for the general public, $5 for faculty and staff, and $3 for students. Basketball ticket prices are $4 for adults, $3 for faculty and staff, and $1 for students. Students are defined as children through 12th grade and students of other colleges with proper identification. Oswego State students with a valid ID are admitted free. These prices may change for special events such as SUNY Athletic Conference playoff games or other tournament events.

The Laker Field complex is busy during the spring season with the men's and women's lacrosse, men's baseball, women's softball and men's tennis teams all playing their admission-free home contests at the fields easily accessible fields.

Oswego State also offers indoor and outdoor track for both men and women, but those teams compete in each of their respective events away from the Oswego campus.

Seats for Laker Hall events and women's hockey games are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For men's hockey contests in the Campus Center ice arena, tickets are seat-specific except in the sections reserved for SUNY Oswego students.
