The Oswego Parents' Association which comes under the "umbrella" of the Oswego Alumni Association, Inc. is an organization which attempts to provide a communication link between parents and the College. A newsletter, Oswego Parents, is published online two times a year.

Parents can get involved with Oswego in many ways:
| Events | Parents can help plan special on-campus and/or regional events for Oswego Parents. |
| Recruitment | Parents can assist in recruitment activities in their local area. |
| Legislative Relations | Parents can assist in contacting state government representatives to advocate for continued support for SUNY. |
| Career Guidance | Parents can serve as a resource person for interested students in their career field. |
| Parents' Fund | Parents can help develop strategies and assist with efforts to raise money for the Parents' Fund. |
