Visitors to Oswego's Web site have a new tool for meeting their philanthropic goals. The college has launched a Web site for planned giving.

"Our goal is to make it easy for those who love Oswego to support the college while still making sure their families are cared for," said Mark R. Slayton, director of finance for both the alumni and development offices.

The new site offers an explanation of the benefits of making a planned gift, options for giving and a calculator, so that visitors to the site can review their options and compare the potential of each

A popular option on the site offers stories of alumni who have chosen to make planned gifts to Oswego, remembering the college in their wills or setting up trusts or annuities that benefit the institution as well as their own financial well-being.
