The Oswego State women's basketball program has two new members in its 1,000 Point Club.
Sarah Lombard ’08 and Samantha Driscoll ’08 both reached the prestigious milestone in recent games, and helped Oswego State to its fifth straight winning season. Lombard and Driscoll became the seventh and eighth players in the program's history to reach 1,000 points in their careers.
Lombard achieved the feat with 14 points in a one-point loss to Geneseo on Feb. 8, and Driscoll hit the milestone mark with a 27-point night in a win at Morrisville on Feb. 20.
Through the completion of the regular season and SUNYAC tournament, Lombard now has 1,083 points and Driscoll has 1,059 points. The Lakers owned a 14-11 record overall and awaited word on a potential bid to the ECAC Upstate Tournament.
