If you are looking for the opportunity to return to Oswego to see old friends and check out what’s new on campus, then make plans to attend Return to Oz III, the SUNY Oswego Alumni of Color Reunion. Return to Oz will be held from Sept. 28 to 30 with a full schedule of events planned for the weekend.

Friday afternoon features campus tours and a faculty/alumni mixer, followed by an ALANA reception and Presidential Dinner, hosted by President Deborah F. Stanley, topping the night off with music by the Oswego Jazz Project and a DJ social.

The agenda for Saturday begins with a continental breakfast and a networking fair with current students. There will also be open pool and gym throughout the day, as well as a picnic at Shady Shore. The Gospel Choir will perform in the evening, and all alumni are welcome to join in the performance. If you are interested in singing, contact Kahan Sablo ’90 at ksablo@edinboro.edu. A cocktail reception and Grand Dinner/Dance in the Hewitt Union Ballroom will finish off the evening.

The weekend comes to a close on Sunday with a farewell breakfast buffet.

While you’re visiting Oswego, there are also numerous opportunities close by to make Return to Oz fun for the whole family. The Thousand Islands Region, Adirondack Region and Finger Lakes wineries are all close enough for a day trip and there are attractions in the Oswego area such as Fair Haven Beach State Park, Fort Ontario and the Oswego Marine Museum.

Gold screened Return to Oz T-shirts will be available for pre-sale only when you register. A photographer will also be available throughout the weekend to take candid and group shots upon request that will be available for order at the end of the weekend.

Refunds (minus a $10 fee) will be issued only for cancellations received before Sept. 14. Cancellations received after Sept. 14 will not be refunded.
