Corbette S. Doyle ’78,
chief diversity officer of Aon Corp. and chair of its
National Healthcare Practice, was named Insurance Woman
of the Year by the Association of Professional Insurance
Women.
A cocktail reception and award ceremony was held in
Doyle’s honor Thursday, June 8, at the New York
Marriott Marquis.
“Commenting on Corbette Doyle’s distinctive
and sustained leadership record is a true pleasure,”
said Gregory Case, president and chief executive officer
of Aon Corp., who introduced Doyle at the event. “Corbette
is a valued leader and mentor across Aon. She is viewed
as an exceptional colleague and someone who consciously
reaches out to support others. Her professional and
personal achievements are vivid examples of the qualities
sought by APIW for this honor.”
“Her leadership and accomplishments, as well as
her commitment to supporting and advancing women in
insurance, are exceptional examples of all of the qualities
that APIW looks for in the recipient of this highly
prestigious honor,” Laurie A. Kamaiko, president
of APIW, said of Doyle. “She has portrayed exemplary
