The SUNY Oswego Alumni Relations and University Development Office’s annual Honor Roll of Appreciation will be posted on National Philanthropy Day, Nov. 15.
The Honor Roll recognizes the 6,808 alumni, faculty, staff, emeriti, parents and friends who gave $3,007,242 from July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2012.
All alumni and friends are invited to hear stories from students who benefit from The Fund for Oswego on Nov. 15. Stephanie Gamboa’12, M ’14; Julibeth Saez '12; and Chad Brooks ’13 share their Oswego experiences made possible by the Fund in a short video produced by Tyler Edic ’13.
The Fund for Oswego supports all departments on campus by filling budget gaps left by dwindling state support. It also makes various scholarships and programs ⎯ like Global Laboratories ⎯ possible.
Watch the Honor Roll website and follow the Alumni and Development Office social media channels to view video clips in the weeks leading up to Nov. 15.
In addition to saving money and reducing waste, a significant factor in the recent move from a print to an online Honor Roll was to protect our donors' privacy. A Google search of any individual's name will not link to the donor listing.
