Still Time to Give to The Fund for Oswego
The Fund for Oswego will close its books June 30 and the Oswego College Foundation is aiming to make 2011-12 one of the strongest years ever for participation.
"All our gifts, when put together, are powerful enough to help alleviate current students' financial burdens while enriching their educational experiences at Oswego," said Jennifer Shropshire '86, national chair of The Fund for Oswego.
Alumni participation rates in fundraising help Oswego rise in prominent rankings like the Princeton Review and U.S. News and World Report lists, which adds value to an Oswego degree.
If every one of our alumni and friends — there are 75,000 worldwide — gave just $50, the Fund would grow by $3.9 million.
"Oswego has a genuine need for resources," Shropshire said. "It's a huge institution but also a huge institution that delivers. Our gifts provide the resources needed to help today's students excel."
Please consider making a gift to:
· Support student-faculty research projects
· Provide reading materials for Penfield Library
· Keep campus renewal projects going
· And much more
The Oswego College Foundation urges Oswego family members to "stand up and be counted" by participating in The Fund for Oswego before June 30.
All those who make a gift before the end of the month will be included in the annual Honor Roll of Appreciation, released each November on Philanthropy Day.
