Women's Swimming and Diving Recognized as Scholar All-America Team
The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team was recently recognized as a NCAA Division III Scholar All-America team by the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2011-12 season.
In order to be named on the All-Academic list, teams must have earned a combined team grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2012 semester.
The Laker women were one of seven SUNYAC teams honored among 129 Division III institutions with a combined 3.21 GPA. Buffalo State, Cortland, Fredonia, Geneseo, New Paltz, and Oneonta were the other conference representatives.
This marks the fifth time in seven semesters that the Oswego State women's swimming and diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team, as the CSCAA produces the All-Academic list twice each year.
