Former U.S. Ambassador Marianne Matuzic Myles '75 shares her experience traveling the world on behalf of her country in our "Buffalo to Bogota" feature.
Lauren Cobello Greutman '03 is "that lady" who knows how to save money, and she shares her story as well as some tips about couponing and financial housekeeping.
Catch videos that accompany these stories later this month in our online edition, which was recently recognized with a national APEX Award for Publication Excellence. Launched in spring 2011, oswego.edu/magazine was among seven Awards of Excellence winners in the "Magazines and Journals: Electronic and Web" category.
The 2012 APEX awards were presented "based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry — in the opinion of the judges — in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence," according to officials at Communications Concepts, which sponsors the awards.
There were nearly 3,400 entries and 1,100 awards in all.
