Our 23rd Annual Welcoming Torchlight Ceremony took place on
Friday, August 24, 2012, in the Campus Center Convocation Arena.
With this honored tradition, nearly 2,000 current students, faculty and staff welcomed our new freshmen and transfer students into our academic community.
Our own Oswego State Jazz Ensemble entertained the crowd prior to the Ceremony, joined by alumnus Tamar Greene '09 on vocals.
Immediately following, the student crowd moved to the other end of the Arena for a Giant Video Dance Party, hosted by Oswego's Orientation Program!
