Due to an overwhelming student response for this program, we had to relocate the venue within the FIT Complex.

The Career Connections program is now located in:
FIT Building D - The Great Hall
West 27th Street and 7th Avenue (in Manhattan)

Upon graduating, approximately 20 percent of Oswego State students plan to move to New York City.  The Oswego Alumni Association, in collaboration with Career Services, plans an annual event — NYC Career Connections — in Manhattan, to assist our students in making this transition. 

NYC Career Connections is an award-winning alumni/student networking event in which we ask alumni who work in the metropolitan and surrounding New York area to speak with current students on topics including their career, how they got to their current position, job search processes and relocating to the area.

We would like to invite you to host a table from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. that has information about your career field and/or employer.  This is not a recruiting fair, but rather an informal and informative way for our current students to learn about networking and about different professions in the New York City area.  We hope that you are able to join us and assist our Oswego students in exploring various career paths.

Refreshments will be provided during the networking portion of the event for alumni and students.
