"In the last 17 years, the public has come to see the press as less professional, less moral, more accurate, and less caring about the interests of the country" according to The State of the News Media 2005 by the Project for Excellence in Journalism. Some of the nation's most notable media experts met on the SUNY Oswego campus and spoke candidly about this critical issue.

This forum is underwritten by Louis A. Borrelli, Jr. '77 to provide students with the opportunity to interact with media leaders and gain insights that will help them in their careers."

The students and faculty of the State University of New York at Oswego are most appreciative of Louis A. Borrelli Jr.’s generous support of this event.
