Dear Fellow Alumnus/Alumna,
As state support for public higher education has eroded in recent years, the Oswego Alumni Association, Inc. has been proactive in its response. Alumni and parents have volunteered to assist us in our efforts by contacting their elected officials in support of continued funding for SUNY and for public higher education in general.
We invite all Oswego alumni and parents of current students to join The Legislative Advocacy Committee. It involves a small commitment on your part to communicate with your legislators on a regular basis - through phone calls, letters, or personal visits - in response to proposed state budgets and other issues affecting SUNY.
It is important that elected officials hear from you, their constituents, on issues related to public higher education. Our goals are to maintain access and quality of education at Oswego State University.
