Alumni Relations Staff

	Betsy Oberst Betsy Oberst is the Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations and Stewardship and the Executive Director of the Oswego Alumni Association. She is responsible for overall day-to-day operation of both The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations and The Oswego Alumni Association, Inc., a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit corporation. She is the institutional liaison with the volunteer Board of Directors of the alumni association. She oversees the coordination of the annual Alumni Reunion Weekend. She also works with the volunteer Alumni Awards Committee and serves as the Publisher of Oswego Alumni Magazine. She is responsible for overseeing personnel, financial and strategic planning areas for both the office and the alumni association. Oberst is also responsible for implementing a stewardship program for alumni and donors and for overseeing the management of the Foundation and Alumni Association's scholarship and memorial gifts programs.

	Alumni Director VACANT

	Allison Craine Allison Craine is the Administrative Associate to the Executive Director of the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. She is responsible for the hiring and supervision of students as well as the daily management of office functions. Allison is also responsible for the coordination of Harborfest Housing for alumni, serves as Reunion Registration Supervisor, as well as other components of Reunion Weekend and other special events. Additionally, Allison serves as Secretary for the Alumni Board of Directors. Allison joined the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations in March of 2001.
	Barbara Fike Barbara is the Records Manager for the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. She oversees the updating and maintenance of a database of more than 70,000 alumni, parents and friends of SUNY Oswego. She is also responsible for the alumni email account and components of Alumni and University Development programs such as Reunion Weekend.
	Melissa Manwaring '01 Melissa is the Associate Director of Alumni & Parent Relations. She is responsible for the Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) program, Torchlight Ceremonies, Athletic Hall of Fame, regional events, constituent alumni associations, mini-reunion planning as well as the alumni association’s website. She also oversees OsweGoConnect, the online community.
	Laura Pavlus '09 Laura is the Associate Director of Alumni & Parent Relations. She coordinates all Alumni Relations' student and GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) programs. These programs include Alumni-In-Residence (A.I.R.) and NYC Career Connections. She also advises the Future Alumni Network (FANs) and the Senior Class Planning and Gift Committee.
	Michelle Tackett-Spinner '98 Michelle is the Associate Director for Stewardship. She plays a large role in both the scholarship and stewardship programs

Alumni and University Development Communications
	Michele Reed Michele is the Director of Alumni & University Development Communications. She is the editor and principal writer for two award-winning publications: Oswego alumni magazine, which is published three times a year, and Oswego Parents newsletter, which comes out semi-annually. She also writes award citations, news releases, special event remarks, development pieces and assists others on staff with their writing needs.
	Shane Liebler Shane is the A&UD Communications Associate. He is responsible for editing Lake E-ffect, the monthly e-newsletter for alumni, and Oswego Parents, which is published twice each academic year. He is also associate editor of Oswego magazine and contributes to various other Web and paper pieces produced by A&UD.
	Jennifer Broderick Jennifer is the Graphic Designer/A&UD Communications Production Manager for the Division of Alumni and University Development. The graphic designer is responsible for the design and production of most printed materials in Alumni and University Development. She also assists in managing alumni and development photo archives, various photography and special event design project needs. She is also responsible for production management and scheduling of all A&UD communications.
