Year: Sophomore
Major: Business Administration
Hometown: Lancaster, NY
Involvement: On campus, I'm a Resident Mentor in Johnson Hall. I received the Presidential Scholarship when I first came to Oswego and recently I have made the Dean's List.
Why Oswego: When I visited SUNY Oswego I noticed that the university was dedicated to updating the campus facilities, making sure modern technology was put in place. Some updates that stood out to me were all the "Smart Classrooms" that were being installed, Wireless Internet in almost all of the buildings on campus and finally all of the renovations that were taking place.
Favorite Thing About Oswego: My favorite thing about SUNY Oswego is that the campus feels like a close-knit community and that students commonly express SUNY Oswego pride whether it be at an ice hockey game, participating in campus-wide activities, or something as simple as watching WTOP supporting fellow students.
Why Did You Become A Tour Guide: When first visiting SUNY Oswego during my senior year in high school I took a tour through admissions in order to get a better feel for the campus and what it would be like to attend this school. I was so impressed by my tour guide and their performance that I wanted to be able to proudly show off my school to perspective students in hopes of them coming here for their college career as well.
Favorite Memory At Oswego: My favorite memory here at SUNY Oswego would definitely be when Johnson Hall won Project Play during opening weekend last fall by having the most residents attend.
