Year: Senior
Major: Psychology
Hometown: Rochester, NY
Involvement: Student Association Vice President Emeritus, Psychology club officer, member of CCRC (Campus Community Relations Committee) and Student Representative on the common council.
Why Oswego:My friend from HS already went here and highly recommended it. I decided to visit and fell in love with the campus and psychology department. I knew this was the place where I was able to easily get involved within my department and outside the classroom.
Favorite Thing About Oswego: Other than the obvious (the lake), I would have to say the ability to do major research with professor's in my department. I've been able to present my undergraduate research amongst other professionals and graduate students at national conferences across the country. It's an opportunity that you just can't pass up!
Why Did You Become A Tour Guide:I love Oswego so I enjoy any opportunity I have to share that with others. The decision to come to SUNY Oswego really was the first step through countless doors that have opened up for me since then.
Favorite Memory At Oswego: Every year during the last week of finals/classes, my friends and I have made a tradition of going down to Rudy's for dinner, then next door to Bev's for dessert, and then watch the sunset together. It's always been my favorite tradition here.
