Why Oswego: I loved SUNY Oswego because I found everything I needed here - reasonable tuition, Merit Scholarship, excellent Communications program, and so many opportunities to get involved on-campus. What really swayed me toward Oswego and away from all the other schools above all was the people here. Whether it was the students, the administration or professors that I would run into everyone was so nice, and every single person i met was so willing to go out of their way to help me in any way they could.
Favorite Thing About Oswego: My favorite thing about SUNY Oswego, aside from the people here, are all the opportunities available to students. There are endless amounts of internships, jobs, clubs and study abroad programs available for students to become involved in. With the combination of all of the opportunities and the helpful faculty it's so easy to succeed at Oswego!
Why Did You Become A Tour Guide: I became a tour guide because it seemed like something I would love to do and I was right!. It was another activity in which I could be more engaged in the campus community and keep me connected with what's going on at SUNY Oswego. I love meeting the new and prospective students and being able to help make one of the most important decisions in their lives! It's amazing to have that type of impact on a person.
Favorite Memory At Oswego:My favorite memory by far at SUNY Oswego is getting snowed in for a week February '07. The amount of snow we received was absolutely unbelievable and it was so much fun to play in! Whether I was outside jumping off my jeep into the just-as-high snow piles or cozied up inside watching Sex and the City and Friends it was an amazing week. It was also so exciting to make the national news!
