Columbus Day Open House
The Open House will include: Admissions presentations, a chance to talk with faculty, student-guided campus tours, select tours of academic facilities and an opportunity to meet with representatives from Career Services, International Education (study abroad) and Experience-Based Education (internships). From Points North, South, and East, once you've reached Oswego: Continue on Route 104 West (Bridge Street) through the city of Oswego to George Washington Boulevard. George Washington Boulevard is located one mile west of the intersection of Route 104 and Route 481 (East First Street), at the “forks in the road” (traffic light at the junction of Route 104, Bridge Street, Hillside Avenue, Seneca Avenue and George Washington Boulevard).
As you approach Friendly’s and McDonald's on Route 104 move to the right lane and continue straight onto George Washington Boulevard. Continue for less than a half-mile on George Washington Boulevard, passing Ace Home Center on the right. Sheldon Hall is at the corner of Sheldon Avenue and George Washington Boulevard. Take the second right entrance to Sheldon Hall and park in the visitor parking area immediately to the left of the building (Lot #29). If that area is full, park directly across the street in the King Hall parking lot (E-15). The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is located at the west wing entrance of Sheldon Hall.
Points West: Take I-90 (New York State Thruway) East to Exit 40 (Weedsport); travel north on Route 34 to Route 104, then east on Route 104 to campus.Or take Route 104 East directly to campus. Turn left onto Sweet Road at the Main Campus entrance. Make the first right off Sweet Road to West End Avenue. Immediately after the stop sign on West End, the road will bend left and become Swift Street. Continue on Swift Street (the campus remains on your left) which will bend to the right and become George Washington Boulevard. Snygg Hall will be immediately on your left followed by historic Sheldon Hall, distinguished by its white pillars. Park in the visitor parking area immediately to the left of Sheldon Hall (Lot #29).If that area is full, park directly across the street in the King Hall Parking lot (E-15). The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is located at the west wing entrance of Sheldon Hall.
