Since Oswego is part of the State University of New York, our students receive an excellent education from a highly respected faculty for a fraction of the cost of a private college or university. Even so, most students receive some sort of financial assistance. We award about $2.5 million in merit scholarships to new freshmen and transfer students entering in the fall term. In addition, over $65 million in financial aid is presented annually through various grants, loans, work study programs and scholarships.
A more detailed breakdown of costs is available for undergraduates and graduate students. For additional information on support options, visit the financial aid information page.
