After you complete and Submit your FAFSA

• Read the Confirmation Page.
• Click on the highlighted link under "New York State Resident"
• The first time you use the HESC site you will create a user ID and password. Follow the on-line instructions.
• The Oswego TAP codes are:
     0935 for undergraduates
     5420 for graduate students
• If you are a transfer student and have already completed your FAFSA, you will need to change your school code to Oswego.

Note: If you do not apply for TAP electronically by linking from the FAFSA Confirmation Page, you will be mailed a paper Express TAP Application (TAP ETA) to be completed and submitted to New York State Higher Education Services Corporation.
