Costs and Financial Aid

Chris Hill at the Point

SUNY Oswego's students receive an excellent education for a fraction of the cost of a private college or university. Most students receive some sort of financial assistance. We award about $2.7 million in merit scholarships to new freshmen and transfer students. In addition, students receive over $80 million in financial aid annually through various grants, loans, work-study programs and scholarships.

View costs for undergraduates and graduate students, or visit the Financial Aid Office online or in person for more information on how to support your studies. You can also view our Financing Your Education brochure (256 KB PDF) to learn about financial aid programs and how to apply.
