Office of Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts is responsible for the invoicing and collection of tuition, room, board, fees, and other campus miscellaneous revenue in a manner consistent with the policies and procedures set forth by SUNY Administration. The office is also responsible for the collection and disbursement of State and Federal financial aid as governed by appropriate regulations.

*Summer 24 bills are due May 10th 2024.* A payment plan is available through myOswego.

*Past due balances will be subject to a registration hold*

 

To view your bill online

  • Login to MyOswego
  • Select the Financial Services tab
  • Select Student Accounts
  • Select View/Pay Bill
  • Select View/Pay Account, a new window will open
  • Select Statements

New statements are posted monthly.

To Add an Authorized Payer

A student may authorize someone to pay the bill on their behalf, such as a parent, guardian, grandparent, or sibling. 

  • Login to MyOswego
  • Select the Financial Services tab
  • Select Student Accounts
  • Select View/Pay Bill
  • Select View/Pay Account, a new window will open
  • Scroll down to send a payer invitation. Add the first name, last name, and email of the person you want to view your bill. 

Refunds

Refunds will start being released the first day of classes. Make sure you have your refund preference set up with Bank Mobile DisbursementsFor more information about BankMobile, visit the BankMobile website.

To set up your refund preference:

  • Login to MyOswego
  • Select the Financial Services tab
  • Select Student Accounts
  • Select Refund Setup

Payment Due Dates

For Fall and Spring semesters, payment must be received by our office one business day prior to the start of a semester. Payment for Winter and Summer sessions is due 12 days prior to the start of your class.

Acceptable Forms of Payment

Payment may be made using one of the following options:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express)
  • Confirmed Financial Aid
    • Aid has been accepted, promissory notes signed, and all other requirements have been satisfied

When confirming attendance, Title IV aid recipients must authorize SUNY Oswego to use their Title IV Financial Aid (PELL, Stafford Loans, SEOG, Perkins) to pay all non-institutional charges in addition to tuition, institutional fees, room, and board. Non-institutional charges include:

  • College Store
  • Parking fee
  • Student Association fee
  • Alumni fee
  • Arts fee

 

Payment Plan
  • Payment plans are available for summer, fall, winter and spring semesters and have a $40 non-refundable fee.
  • SUNY Oswego offers students the opportunity to pay each semester’s tuition bill in installments. Students MUST apply for the plan each semester and a $40 non-refundable application fee is charged for this payment option. The student will not be enrolled until the initial payment is made. The payment period for fall is August-December, spring is January-May , summer is May-Aug and winter is Nov-Jan Initial payments must be made by the payment due date on the tuition bill. To figure payment amount, take the balance due and divide by 5 (fall/spring) this is the monthly payment. The $40 enrollment fee needs to be paid at the time of enrollment. The payment due date is the 15th of each month (fall/spring). Any payment received after the monthly due date will incur a late payment fee of up to $50. All returned checks are subject to SUNY Oswego returned check policy. Payment Plans MUST be paid in full by the end of each semester.
