IN ORDER TO GRADUATE:
You must first apply to graduate online, (Instructions* see below) Then Complete a Senior Check Form(s) in each major and minor (if applicable)

Senior Check Forms are generated and sent to the appropriate advisor(s) approximately two weeks after you have successfully applied to graduate online. (Times may vary.)

It is your responsibility to make an appointment and meet with your advisor(s) to complete the Senior Check Form(s). Form(s) must be signed and returned to the Registrar's Graduation Area, 307 Culkin Hall, by the appropriate deadline. Applying on time will avoid possible graduation problems and ensure your name is printed in the commencement program.

The Senor Check Form is mandatory for graduation.
December Graduation - December 19, 2009 Dates to File Online ......April 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009 Deadline to return Senior Check Form.......November 1, 2009 December Commencement ceremonies will be held in Campus Center
May Graduation - May 15, 2010 Dates to File Online ......April 1, 2009 to February 15, 2010 Deadline to return Senior Check Form.......March 1, 2010 May Commencement ceremonies will be held in the Campus Center
August Graduation - (Date only, no ceremony**) August 13, 2010 Dates to File Online ......April 1, 2009 to February 15, 2010 Deadline to return Senior Check Form......July 1, 2010 **Students who file for August Graduation are automatically included in and invited to participate in the May Ceremony.
Do not file for May if you have coursework to complete during the summer.
*Instructions to File Online: Go to myOswego ( http://myoswego.oswego.edu ) Sign in Click on "Registration" Click on "Apply for Graduation" Follow instructions on the Graduation Form.
Filing Online is quick and very simple to do. The first page lists all current student information, pertaining to your academic history, that has been documented by the Registrar's Office.

If the information is correct, you may proceed to the next page. Here you will make your selections, submit, and apply for graduation. You will be able to print a confirmation with information regarding the Senior Check Form.

If the information is inaccurate, you will need to correct the problem before you may apply to graduate.
Please note: If you miss the above deadline dates to file online, or if you cannot apply to graduate online, you will need to contact the Graduation Area of the Registrar's Office for help.
