Registration Dates


Advanced Registration: April 9-27, 2012

SUNY Oswego Matriculated students for Spring 2012 are eligible to register during Advanced Registration.

Matriculated Graduate Students begin registering on April 9, 2012

Matriculated Undergraduate Students begin registering on April 9, 2012
Students should check their myOswego account for appointment time for registration.
NOTE: Registration is restricted for all first semester juniors (57-71 completed credit hours), first semester transfer students, and freshman until they see their advisor.

Readmitted students may begin registering after completing the readmission process and meeting with their advisor. Please refer to your readmittance acceptance letter for guidelines.

Continuing Registration: April 30-August 26, 2012

Non-matriculated graduate and undergraduate students may begin registering on April 30, 2012.

Late Registration: June 30-August 26, 2012

Matriculated undergraduate students must advance register for Fall courses by June 29, 2012. Those that do not will have a registration hold. There is a fee of $40.00 to late register. The hold will be lifted and the fee charged to your semester bill immediately. Permission to Late Register Information.

 

ADD/DROP Period
Add: August 27-September 6; Drop: August 27-September 18

Matriculated Graduate and  all Undergraduate students: Most courses can be added online through myOswego. If you are unable to add online, complete the ADD Form, get the required signatures, and return it to the Registrar's Office.

Part-time students should use DROP Form to drop courses because of fee liability; complete the form, get the required signatures with the last day of attendance filled in by the instructor, and return it to the Registrar's Office.
