Important Notes
- Students of junior or senior standing, with at least a 2.00 cumulative grade point average, are permitted to register for a maximum of one Pass-Fail option course per grading period, including summer sessions. Non-degree students are also allowed to opt for Pass-Fail.
- Pass-Fail courses are limited to those courses taken to fulfill general elective courses. A course used to satisfy general education, major, minor, concentration, or cognate requirements may not be taken on a Pass-Fail basis. If you have any questions whether a course may be taken Pass-Fail, please contact your advisor. (See catalog under Curriculum Information)
- Students may take a maximum of four (4) courses (12 credit hours) on a Pass-Fail basis during their entire degree program.
- A Pass-Fail form must be submitted to the Registrar's Office (301 Culkin Hall), by the published deadline to add a course.
- Submission of a Pass-Fail form commits the student to complete the course on Pass-Fail basis.
- A Pass-Fail course is not computed in the grade point average.
