OSWEGO -- Fitness professionals can strengthen their qualifications through a two-day Personal Trainer Workshop on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21, at SUNY Oswego's Hart Hall.
Co-sponsored by the National Dance Exercise Instructors Training Association and SUNY Oswego, the workshop results in two-year certification and membership for participants who pass the written exam.
The National Dance Exercise Instructors Training Association is a nonprofit fitness professional association whose workshops are nationally recognized.
The workshop will begin at 8 a.m. both days in Hart Hall.
NDEITA's expert trainer will cover exercise science review, communication skills, exercise programming, health assessment and other topics. The workshop will include demonstrations and practical applications of one-on-one training.
