COLLEGE SETS DISCUSSION ON POSSIBLE WAR IN IRAQ
OSWEGO -- Three SUNY Oswego professors will offer a discussion on "War in Iraq?" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the main lounge of Hewitt Union on campus. Originally scheduled for Feb. 12, the program was postponed at that time because of a snowstorm.
The Coalition for Peace Education, a SUNY Oswego Student Association organization, will sponsor the presentation, which will be open to the public free of charge.
The panelists will be Dr. Thomas Judd, professor of history; Dr. Stephen J. Rosow, associate professor of political science and director of Oswego's global and international studies program; and Brett E. Marston, visiting assistant professor of political science at Oswego and a doctoral degree candidate at Yale University.
"There will be abundant opportunity for discussion," said Dr. Nola Heidlebaugh, professor of communication studies and one of the event's organizers.
Persons with disabilities needing assistance should call 312-3454 if they plan to attend.
