DECEMBER GRADUATION CEREMONY SET SATURDAY
OSWEGO -- Hundreds of soon-to-be SUNY Oswego
graduates will participate in the college's December graduation at 11
a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Laker Hall.
In all, 743 students are eligible to participate in
Saturday's ceremonies. Around 200 will receive master's degrees.
A reception for graduates and their families and
friends precedes the ceremony from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Hewitt Union
ballroom.
In addition to conferring degrees, the graduation
ceremony will include the formal presentation of the Chancellor's
Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Professional Service and the
President's Awards for Academic Advisement to faculty and staff.
