Columbus Day Open House
The Open House will include: Admissions presentations, a chance to talk with faculty, student-guided campus tours, select tours of academic facilities and an opportunity to meet with representatives from Career Services, International Education (study abroad) and Experience-Based Education (internships). Re: Tuition Assistance and Support Programs
I want to take this opportunity to remind all employees about the tuition assistance and support programs that are available on this campus. There are three programs available through negotiating units, as well as one supplemental program made available through the SUNY System. Those programs are as follows:
UUP Tuition Assistance Program
NYS & CSEA Partnership Tuition Benefits (formerly LEAP)
SUNY B-140W Tuition Waiver Program

There are also several financial aid programs available through the Office of Financial Aid. Although most of these programs qualify recipients by income standards, these amounts have been increased substantially over the past few years. I would encourage you to check into these programs as well, but keep in mind that application for most financial aid programs needs to be made well in advance of the semester of study.
