The Office of the Assistant Provost oversees day-to-day operations of the Division of Academic Affairs, including budget planning and monitoring; personnel matters related to professional staff; faculty services related to grants and awards; and special projects and initiatives.
The Assistant Provost serves as the Provost's liaison to certain faculty and college-wide committees and councils including the Scholarly and Creative Activity Committee, the Committee on Learning and Teaching, the Campus Technology Advisory Board, the Committee on Committees, the Chancellor's Awards Selection Committee, among others.
In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Ameigh is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies and co-founder of the Center for Community Journalism at Oswego.For additional assistance, contact the Office of the Provost.
