Faculty Searches for 07-08:

The Council discussed requests for lines submitted by the deans in preparation for the 2007-2008 faculty search cycle.  The Provost and deans will meet with Priorities and Planning Council (PPC) to discuss priorities for filling faculty positions for the coming academic year.  We will begin advertising available positions during October.

President’s Council with Deans:

The deans will meet with the President’s Council on Monday, September 24^th to discuss current and ongoing initiatives.

Annual Goals:

The Council finalized annual goals for the Academic Affairs Division.  This year’s priorities will dovetail with institutional sesquicentennial goals and those set by individual units.

Announcements:

- The 3^rd Annual Oswego Symposium on Learning and Teaching will be held in Hewitt Union on Thursday, September 27^th.

- Alumni of color reunion, Return to Oz III, will be held on campus September 28-30^th.
