Scheduling events and space usage:
Registrar Andrew Westfall introduced a new Web-based event and room scheduling tool called Resource 25 that will soon make scheduling space for classes, conferences or other gatherings easier. Introductory workshops for secretaries and other intended users were conducted recently.  A date for rolling out the program to the campus community will be announced in the near future.

Professional Development Center:
The Council continued its discussion of ways to begin planning for a professional development center for faculty and staff.  A centralized development center can integrate workshops and other programs currently offered by Continuing Education, Campus Technology Services, CELT, ORSP, and Penfield library, among others.  The goal will be to have a coordinator in place by Fall, 2008.

International Programs:
The Council reviewed divisional progress toward the goal of having a study abroad liaison in every department assigned to help students understand how study abroad can help them complete their majors and enhance their educations.  Liaisons will work with the Office of International Education and Programs to help facilitate study abroad opportunities for all students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
