Good news:
Yvonne: launch of on campus interviews for graduate dean candidates is underway.
Linda Rae: New drawings for School of Education have been well received.
Rolando: five OLSS staff members will present at regional EOP conference.
Mary Schoeler: engineering is underway to bring fiber to remaining unconnected (by fiber) portions of the campus.
Tom: Provost's Scholarly and Creative Activity Advisory Committee met last week, feedback to provost on her charge to the committee will come forward shortly.
Sara: two excellent hires in Arts and Sciences so far. A committee in A&S is talking about undergraduate research.
Rhonda: CELT is moving into the library; we have a design plan we like.
Discussion on Professional Development (draft document handed out):
Rhonda reported on feedback she had received on draft of goals from Division of Academic Affairs units and Division of Student Affairs units. There was discussion of ways to include Student Affairs staff in Academic Affairs programs.
Sexual Harassment Proposal: There was discussion of the current proposal and suggestions about a conflict of interest proposal.
