University Police officers at SUNY Oswego are known by our community as being professional, knowledgeable, courageous, helpful and friendly. Our exceptional staff is comprised of sworn police officers, trained communication specialists and a dedicated team of civilian support and clerical staff. A core principal of our agency is the furtherance of training for all members of our department to stay current in a wide spectrum of university law enforcement skills.
The University Police Department at the State University College at Oswego was formed over 35 years ago to establish and preserve peace and order on this campus in the furtherance of the college's academic mission. Our core objective is founded on respect for community members, loyalty and dedication to the campus and excellence in police services with integrity, honor and pride.
